As a member, don’t ever feel that you are just using the services of the site, but feel a sense of belongingness for the same as this an open source community initiative.
1) No Contact by Administrator Mail: I will not be contacting all the members by mail from now on. I will be writing all updates in the Om Shaadi Om Weblog:http://www.omshaadiom.org/blog . However, you do not need to visit it everyday. You can subscribe to the Om Shaadi Om Blog by entering your email in the right sidebar. All latest updates, newsletters, new member lists, new member photographs etc. will be delivered in your inbox automatically. So, once you have scanned through the existing members, you do not even need to come to the site as everything will be delivered to your inbox. So please visit http://www.omshaadiom.org/blog right now and enter your email address. It will take you at the most 10 seconds.
2) Please do give extensive publicity to this site. The more members we will have, the better the chances of finding your match. See the following diagram, assuming that one member pulls on an average 2 members in a day, then how fast the site can grow in a few days:

3) The future of the site is bright. The site is based on same technologies as the Legendary Facebook. Presently, I am working on an interface and chat system which is more or less like facebook. I will introduce this ajax based interface when I move onto a fast dedicated server.
4) How the site will generate money? All the money earned from the advertisements will be be used up in moving onto a dedicated server, which is around Rs. 1 lakh for an year.
5) Become a Gold Member: This is also to request all the Default members to kindly edit their respective profiles and become a Gold Member. You just need to enter few parameters like your height, interest and hobbies in the appropriate fields to become a Gold Member. It will take you at the most 3 minutes to fill in all these details. As a Gold member you can write personalised messages to other members, exchange telephone number etc., write blogs, participate in interactive forums and much more. Around 70 percent of the members have not filled in there profiles properly and hence are default members only.
