Sorry for not writing to you for such a long time. The facebook platform application ‘Soulmate’ has been a huge success. A number of people are joining the site from Facebook.

Unbelievable but true! Facebook Shaadi is now a reality. Om Shaadi Om is now available as a full application on facebook. Name of the application is Soulmate. That means that once the facebook users start using this application, they can communicate with all the members of this site without any problems. In fact, according to the directory listings, ‘Soulmate’ is the only matrimonial application on facebook. You may also visit the fan page on Facebook by clicking the ‘Hearty’.

1. Om Shaadi Om- The eternally free matrimonial and dating site now features as a Full Application on the Facebook. Become a fan. Invite your friends and use the application. Click here to proceed or click on the ‘Hearty’ on the right side of this page.

2. The Om Shaadi Om Blog now features Facebook Connect. Use that to publish your comments and also to publish stories on your profile. Posts for the official weblog are welcome. Use the ‘Fan Box’ to become a fan.

3. The Facebook Integration of Om Shaadi Om has been done. Still, we respect your privacy and do not pull all the information from your account or publish unnecessary comments on your profile homepage.

4. The privacy of all the Facebook members using the application is cent per cent assured. Don’t want to risk being seen on a dating site? No problems with Om Shaadi Om.

I am working on a very lucid and very good interface for the site on facebook and otherwise also. Please do have patience and continue using the site till then. The new interface will have many new features and will be very user friendly. Cheers!

The Good News is that the Facebook – Om Shaadi Om Weblog Integration is complete. This means that the Facebook Users can now connect to the Official Om Shaadi Om Weblog and post comments with their respective Facebook Ids.

If you are not logged into Facebook, then you just need to click on the Fconnect button. Enter your facebook id and password and you will be connected with your profile picture. All the comments that you make will also be posted on your profile. If you are logged in then this will happen automatically, i.e. you will be authenticated automatically when you visit the weblog.

The not so good news is that it will still take some time for me convert Om Shaadi Om into a Full Fledged application on Facebook. But no worries, this will be done in a couple of day’s time to start off. I mean, I will make the application, launch it and then improve it slowly and steadily. I don’t want to launch an application full of bugs, so will test it thoroughly first. This is a learning process for me.
